There is a story mentioned in the book “The power of Your Subconscious Mind” by Dr Joseph Murphy (Pg no 160). The story is – A women named Margaret T. who regularly attended his lectures had to change three buses which took 2 hours to reach to the seminar hall and hence she desperately desired a car. That day onwards she experimented the imaginative technique and used to imagine daily of going to a Cadillac showroom and seeing the car and taking a test drive and she used to claim that particular Cadillac was her own over and over. She kept this mental image for weeks and either she was fortunate or unfortunate that is another issue, but her uncle passed away leaving behind a Cadillac along with his real estate for her. This way she owned a Cadillac.
Keep this story in mind as we proceed further because this process is the underlying principle of Law of Attraction.
We have to realise it without any conflict of interest (by now scientific evidence are available) that humans are just manifestation of energy and we are not just what we look in the mirror, we are way more than that.
We are transmitters and receiver of waves and radiations and that is the flow of energy in and out of ourselves. This flow of energy is possible because of electromagnetic radiation.

Briefly defined, in the new age philosophy the “Law of Attraction is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences in a person’s life”.
This belief is based on the ideas that people and their thoughts are made from energy and that a process of like energy attracting like energy exists through which a person can improve their health, wealth and personal relationships.
On the other hand, we need to be very blunt on the fact that there are zero empirical pieces of evidence to prove the law of attraction and hence is considered pseudoscience.
Law of attraction is nothing but just the science of materialisation.
The term Law of Attraction is very nascent but the concept behind it has been in practice since the human civilisations have set foot on earth.
Humans have been praying to God and performing certain rituals which create an energetic field around themselves to announce their desires to the Universe in the hope of being fulfilled by the one who owns everything (God).
And I don’t need to elaborate it much, because every one of us knows and do this very well and are quite aware of the results that we have obtained in the process.
The implementation of the Law of attraction has three basic steps:
As I have mentioned it earlier that we are energy in human form and hence the thoughts we have are also a form of energy at the quantum level with a certain frequency.
Therefore, every thought is radiated to the universe carrying certain frequency which attracts things that match its frequency, which proves the principle of the Law that Like attracts Like.
Remember that positive thoughts breed positive outcomes and negative thoughts breed negative outcomes.
Ask only what you want and not what you don’t want, be positive in your affirmations.
For example, if you desire a car, then
(a) Do not say that I don’t like the car I am driving right now. Instead, say
(b) I desire a brand-new car according to my needs.
After you have manifested your thought, the next step is to visualise to constantly until that dream/desire does not become a reality in your imagination.
In this step, you need to act on the desired goal along with the visualisation.
Start small, by just creating a vision board of your goals and dedicating 30 minutes to the same.
Hold yourself accountable for the work you do and acknowledge if you commit any mistake in the path and then correct them to move forward.
Make it a habit of positive self-talk.
This is the most important part of the law where many people tend to misinterpret and fail to understand it.
After you desired and acted accordingly, it does not mean that it is guaranteed whatever you wished for.
At the end of the day, everything lies under the command of the Almighty and we can’t command anything strictly, we can only do our part.
Sometimes it also happens that we get what we want but in some other form and you fail to recognise it.
There are times when we don’t get what we want at the desired time, but instead at a later time when it may be more favourable for you.
No matter what it is necessary to accept the outcome, sometimes failure that may teach you a lesson to prepare you for the future.

The law of attraction is always in work whether we do it purposely or not, sometimes we are aware and sometimes not. It has been in practice since life began on earth, but recently got named as Law of Attraction.
